SK MukherjeeTechnical Director

Mr. SK Mukherjee, a certified Textile Technologist joined the group in 2004 and is currently involved in all technical aspects. He guides a team of technical specialists with the sole purpose of ensuring zero quality check error. In 2006, he had been instrumental in the introduction of raw cotton business for export due to his deep knowledge in the field and from time to time has been active in introducing new products to the group’s product basket.

Mr. SK Mukherjee has 38 years of industrial experience in serving at different technical positions like MD, Advisor and as GM for various textile manufacturing companies. His area of expertise is spinning and he has received many awards of “best spinner” in Ahmedabad.

He has received a merit certificate by Switzerland Rieter com4. For his paper on Spinning Technology presented in front of Dignitaries from Switzerland. He has a self-published paper on cotton: Comprehensive Analysis of US Cotton with India.

He loves his sports as much as his work. He doesn’t miss on any of the cricket, lawn tennis, badminton, and football live matches. Being one of the eldest in the group at the age of 72 his passion for work inspires all within the group.

RAHUL JITENDRA SHAHGROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR

Rahul Jitendra joined the LP Group in 1995 entering the domestic yarn marketing business and formed Acme International Ltd setting the pace for the group’s exports. He has been the catalyst in transforming the group from one company business to multiple businesses in different verticals from marketing to trading to manufacturing and retail. A graduate in B.Com and a Postgraduate in Business Management, he also holds an International Business Management degree. His strengths include sighting potential business opportunities and converting them into profitable business verticals, settling them and moving further. His profile includes directing all aspects of the groups various businesses including financial performances, strategic business plans and creating and developing a team of professional employees to take the businesses forward keeping intact the group’s core values and instilling within the team the motivation and passion for performance. Multilingual in English, Hindi and Gujarati he focuses on enhancing the group’s corporate image and improving customer service. His belief that “business follows relationships”, “under-promise and over-deliver” and “create a joyous working environment” have stemmed the current vision statements of the group. Called as the “heart and soul” of the group by the LP team he is also the “face” of the group to the investors/bankers. His interest includes reading business magazines, swimming, billiards and watching movies.

TUSHAR PATELMD ACE COTSYN

Mr. Trushar Patel joined ACE Cotsyn as director in 2015 managing the production and quality side of the woven fabric. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from BnB Polytechnic, Vidyanagar, following which he worked at Torrent Cable Limited as Maintenance Engineer for three years at the beginning of his career. In 1997, He had a personal production house with shuttle weaving machines for blouse material under the name Ruti- B. With the advent of new technology in 2015 he joined Ace Cotsyn and now is in charge of the complete production and operations of the weaving facility there, which has 30 Airjets and 18 Picanol Rapier machines which make about 5 lakh meters woven fabric per month. He strongly believes in honest and tough work to reach greater heights and his dedication has led to Ace Cotsyn to be rated as one of the top vendors in terms of quality for Arvind and other brands. He believes in creating systems and letting the systems run the production operations which he has successfully implemented at Ace Cotsyn.

He loves listening to old music and watching cricket.

Jay BhagatMD Lbtex

Mr. Jay Bhagat joined LB Tex at its inception in 2017 when the group partnered with the Bhagat Family to set up the most modern and large weaving installation under a buy-back arrangement with Arvind. His passion and enthusiasm have resulted in the setup of 204 Picanol Airjets under LBTex which is one of the biggest installations of standalone weaving unit in western India in the shortest span of time producing more than 1,00,000 meters per day. His major interest lies in getting to the core of all business aspects which has helped him execute multiple governments’ tenders of school uniforms, army uniforms for Gujarat police / Indian Military and state transport. Someone who believes it is critical to understand any product/process to the core his interest in doing so has helped the company execute many new developments resulting in cost efficiencies. He has deep knowledge plus experience of the complete chain of production from yarn to garments. While being actively involved in the day to day activities of LB Tex his thirst for growth and his forward vision are making him look at new horizons in the finished fabric which the company looks to pursue.

He believes that “Success is not final, failure is not fatal, “it is the courage to continue that counts”. He is a strong advocate of the belief that “size matters” and has always advocated for putting up world-class facilities with high volumes.

He loves a good game of snooker along with socializing and traveling.

SHITAL SHAHDIRECTOR , My CASA COPENHAGEN

Mrs. Shital decided to join the group in 2017 and with her advent, the group ventured into the retail arena. Strong headed, classy touch, emotional engagement are her strengths, combined with her rich taste has formed the store’s retail collection for My Casa Copenhagen the group’s first flagship retail store. She integrated her taste and compassion towards home decor into a business with a goal to create a seamless customer experience. She leads a team of highly professional and trained home furnishing consultants whose services not only meet but also exceed the high expectations of the customer. Creating and establishing new ideas like “virtual home”, “virtual window” and “virtual bed” she has cemented the My Casa Copenhagen brand in the retail business. She enjoys Garba (traditional Gujarati dance), traveling, badminton and socializing.

VIRAL PANCHALGroup CFO

Mr. Viral Panchal is a Bachelor in Commerce from CU Shah City Commerce College, Ahmedabad and a certified CA from ICAI ( Institute of Chartered Accountants Of India). He started his journey in 2004 as an executive account for Texmart Creations Pvt Ltd and after that had a stint in accounts division at Claris Life Science Ltd. He joined the LP Group in 2009 as General Manager in the Accounts section. With a stable front, a willingness to always accept whatever challenges are put forward and never say NO attitude he was promoted as the Group CFO in 2018. He responsibilities include overseeing finalization of accounts of all group companies, bank Liasoning, handling scrutiny’s and tax departments queries and audits as well as financial planning for the group. He is an integral part of the group involved in all important decisions related to expansions and finance and is an active cricket player.

Anoushka Rahul ShahCSR Head, LP Group

Anoushka Rahul Shah joined the LP Group in 2019 as a research trainee and full time in 2020. She created an online presence for My Casa Copenhagen and expanded its reach through digital platforms. She is currently working in LB Tex in the denim marketing area. She has conducted various CSR activities for the firm which include tree plantations, charity drives and blood donation camps. Her main tasks include :-

She completed her BBA from Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad University and pursued a Diploma in Investment and Financial Analysis from Gujarat University. She is an MBA aspirant. Her hobbies include reading and listening to music. She is a state level badminton player and also an avid lover of animals.
